Cycling in the Himalayas

Cycling the Annapura circuit is a once in a lifetime experience for any adventure cyclist.

Undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking locations to pedal your bike on the planet. Riding along mule tracks and small trails in the shadow of 8,000m peaks as ice blue rivers thunder by you will feel truly at the mercy of the mountains.  However each evening a warm greeting at tea houses along the way will leave you with a phenomenal feeling of satisfaction. Learn of the Himalayan cultural traditions and Tibetan influences in these remote villages that have been preserved for centuries.

You may have grander ambitions of cycling across the whole of the Himalayas from Leh in Ladakh India to Kathmandu in Nepal. Throughout your journey you will pedal across the roof of the world, over 5,000m passes framed by snow capped mountains. Spin past temples, monasteries and forts as you travel down the 22 hairpin turns of the Gata loops to the Indus river.
